Please join us at the next RCPNA General Meeting on September 29 at the German American Society. Election season is here and we have multiple races on the ballot. On Tuesday night, we will highlight two races: Multnomah County Chair and Portland City Council District 3.
The Multnomah County Chair’s race will be a facilitated discussion between the candidates. If you have a question you would like the facilitator to ask, please email us at info@rcpna.org. Due to the sheer number of candidates, the Portland City Council candidates will be available for one-on-one discussion in a “speed dating” format. See the full agenda:
- 7:00-7:10 PM: Welcome + Introductions
- 7:10-7:45 PM: Multnomah County Chair Discussion/Debate
- 7:45-7:50 PM: Transition
- 7:50- 8:50 PM: Portland City Council District 3 Candidates
- 8:50-9:00 PM: Announcements

Volunteers Needed
The German American Society has a big event coming up on October 10 and would love some volunteers from Rose City Park! The Positive Aging Health & Wellness Fair is a free community event connecting older adults and caregivers with health resources, local services, workshops, and fun activities. They need our help putting it on! Please sign up to volunteer here. Volunteer time slots are October 9 and/or 10.
