The results of this neighborhood survey will be discussed at the next LU & TC meeting on Thurs. Tamara, Thank you for your summarizing the threat that the overlay zoning will have on NE Portland, especially Rose City Park.
Several of us living in the impact zone believe this is a heavy hand of the City to systematically destroy the character of the neighborhood and the lives of those who have invested in Rose City Park. We believe the City is doing this as quietly as possible to avoid public outrage.
We are prepared to deliver flyers door to door, and post on poles in advance of the upcoming meeting. They need to be short and to the point. People in the area will be alarmed at what is happening if they know about it.
We are looking forward to your posting your presentation on line as a framework for a flyer. We will pay to get it printed and will distribute it. We would love your input and counsel on what we are trying to do. We just need to get beyond the 25 citizens that were at last nights meeting.
