NE 72nd Drive and Greenway Enhancements:
Work on the NE 72nd Drive Greenway Enhancements project is expected to begin next Monday, October 26. The contractor’s construction schedule estimates crews to be on site through December 1.
Traffic impacts:
NE 72nd Drive will be closed to southbound motor vehicle traffic during work hours, which are 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday – Friday.
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will install pavement markings, signs, and concrete separators along NE 72nd Drive between NE Sacramento and Tillamook Streets to enhance the existing shared use path and Neighborhood Greenway.
People walking and biking will be allowed through during work hours. The road will be reopened to vehicles outside of working hours.
