Our neighborhood finally has enough trained volunteers to be able to form it’s own Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET). This team of volunteers will formulate plans on how to best aid Rose City Park in the event of a major disaster (like the Big One!).
Meetings are 6:30-8:30 on the second Tuesday of each month at the German American Society, 5626 NE Alameda St, Portland, OR 97213. All neighbors are welcome.
If you are interested in talking directly with your RCPNA neighbors involved with NET, or better yet might want to train as a NET member to help prepare your family and others, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the meantime, here are some great resources to learn more about emergency preparedness and the simple steps you should take to prepare for a disaster.
