RCPNA Land Use and Transportation Meeting – April 16 meeting

Attached is the agenda for our April 16 LU&TC Meeting and the Minutes from our February 19 Meeting.  The meeting in March was cancelled. Sharron and Susan drafted the revised Charter that is included at the end of the February minutes for your review.  This will be a topic for discussion at the meeting.

Three big focuses:
  1. Finalizing the general meeting agenda and invitees for May 26th. Please come with ideas (and review last month’s board meeting minutes to refresh yourself on what we brainstormed);
  2. Nailing down the newsletter articles;
  3. Board recruitment for May 26th elections (This includes board retention! Everyone needs to indicate if you’re in for another year. Hope so!).
We have a few other pieces of business, of course, but those are the big three.

It appears that the only real agenda item we have for our meeting this week is the review of the Committee Charter (thank you to Sharron and Susan for providing the draft).  Since this is not time sensitive, I am cancelling the meeting this Thursday.

Join us for the February RCPNA General Meeting, where we’ll highlight local actions and activities that strengthen our community. There will be a number of short, engaging presentations from the Portland Food Project, emergency-preparedness leaders, and the Portland Police Bureau, plus a special look at the Portland Art Museum’s completed major renovation project. Also, we are voting on bylaws changes that we reviewed in September and will be approving in February. Available for review: Rose City Park Neighborhood Association Bylaws.

Come get inspired, learn simple ways to make a difference right here in our city, and connect with fellow neighbors. We hope to see you there!
