Residential Infill Project Survey Results
Recently the RCPNA did a survey for residents on the City’s Residential Infill Project plans.

Using these survey results and after a Board discussion of the proposals, the Board sent a letter to the City with recommendations. You can read this letter here.
While some of these City proposals are quite technical in nature, the ultimate regulations could have important impacts on our neighborhood. Plans for the 5036 NE Sandy Blvd., formerly Taco Time, Property
On Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 7-9 pm the Land Use & Transportation Committee will be having their regular meeting at the German American Society, 5626 NE Alameda St, Portland, OR 97213 .
At this meeting, they will be reviewing the development plans for the former Taco Time property at 51st & Sandy. More details should be available before that meeting, but so far the notice we have received states: “Conceptual design for the project includes a mix of 90 studio, 1 & 2 bedroom apartment units, ground floor lease space, surface parking, landscaping, and right of way improvements.”
Residents interested in learning more about this large development in our neighborhood should mark their calendars for Sep 15. Everyone is welcomed to attend the Committee meeting, and we may have representatives from the developer group there as well.
